Here are some tips to help you or a loved one who is a candidate for joint replacement surgery.

Home Medicines:

We request patients bring in all their home medications, except for narcotics, so we can verify doses and timing.

To adhere to requirements for medication safety and control, we will use our hospital supply of medications if we have a comparable substitute for your home medications. If we do not have a substitute, then we will use what you bring in.

Current Practices:

The hospital could perform COVID testing on any patients who express a potential recent exposure or display COVID like symptoms. Further instructions will be given to patients by Pre-Admission Testing nursing.

Shot records are required for vaccinated patients. This information is obtained during either the Pre-Admission Testing interaction, at Registration or in Pre-operative area.

Patients staying overnight:

  1. Allowed 1 at bedside. All visitors must be over the age of 12.
  2. No limitation on the amount of time for visitation.
  3. Daily visiting hours are 10am to 8pm.
  4. Guest meals will not be provided.

*** HOME MEDICAL DEVICES AND EQUIPMENT***

The only HOME medical equipment allowed for use in the hospital include CPAPs, Insulin pumps, and walkers.

We will NOT be able to use any ice or cooling machine brought in from home.
